The Davis Creamery is a family-owned and operated ice cream store located in downtown Davis. They craft all their ice cream each morning in small batches. With in-house production, they are able to incorporate fresh and locally sourced ingredients in all of their flavors. Having an amazing downtown location, you're never far from getting some "udderly delicious" flavors in a cone or flight. Davis Creamery stocks about 20 flavors per day, on a rotating basis so there is always something new and unique in the store for you to try. Vegan and gluten-free options are also available. If you have a dietary concern, it is always better to call first and see what is available that day.
A little inside scoop on Davis Creamery, they have much more than just ice cream! They also serve cookies, cupcakes, candies, and sorbet along with seasonal items throughout the year. Ice cream is the staple though, and can be purchased by the scoop, by the flight, in pints and quarts, as a sundae, as a float, milkshake, or cupshake (cupcake blended into your shake). Sweet and Shavery offers their delicious East Coast style of Italian Ice and frozen custard along with some mouthwatering parfaits (half Italian Ice and half custard) and crepes. The custard is so smooth and flavorful and when combined with their Italian Ice, your tastebuds will be delighted to take the journey through the rich decadence of the custard and the sweet, sweet goodness of shaved ice. The Italian Ice has a consistency of a mix between shaved ice and sorbet and is served in 16 flavors every day.

Cultive offers 10 flavors at any given time that contain live and active cultures and over 40 toppings to load onto your froyo masterpiece. Locally owned, Cultive opened just four months prior to the COVID pandemic that shut down the nation and threatened to shutter so many small businesses, especially in the service sector. With the support of the community, Cultive was able to reopen during the slow process of opening the country back up safely.
Like the others on this list, Cultive is located in Downtown Davis making it easily accessible whether driving through, biking, or walking downtown. Cultive is also an active participant in the Davis Savings Pass that allows locals and visitors to get great deals and discounts on so many shops, restaurants, hotels, and attractions throughout Davis.
